New Partnership: Ottawa Art Gallery + Odawa Native Friendship Centre

New partnership: Ottawa Art Gallery + Odawa Native Friendship Centre

Supremely stoked and proud to announce that the Youth Art Nature Camp my friend Carol Goodman and I have been stewarding for the past 8 Summers at 100 Mile Farm in Wakefield, Québec will be stepping into a partnership with The Ottawa Art Gallery and Odawa Native Friendship Centre for two magical weeks this July 2017. We’ll feature socially engaged guest artists with a focus on Indigenous art; a field trip to the National Gallery; and a vernissage at City Hall. These offerings will be wonderful additions to our programs. Thank you OAG for this opportunity to share the farm and our passion for art with kids from many walks of life. We’ve been dreaming this since the beginning, and are especially excited about getting urban kids out onto the land who might not otherwise have access to the natural world.

Our camp site will be updated in the coming weeks, and registration should open in early March ~ please stay tuned for details: campartnature.com

Grateful to this staple of intersecting community and culture in the National Capital, and looking forward to our upcoming collaboration:
